Ombrello is the only water-repellent coating that has been scientifically researched.

With the glass pane, Ombrello forms a dirt and water-repellent compound on a molecular level. This changes the surface properties of the glass and the pane surface becomes hydrophobic.

The water forms a spherical drop as soon as it appears. Due to the contact angle of 115 degrees, these drops of water roll off the glass under the influence of gravity and the wind. The existing dirt particles are simply carried away by the water drops and rinsed off.

The shelf life of Ombrello when used correctly is around 1 year or around 20,000 km. Washer waxes and window additives leave the sealed glass surface unimpressed.

Ombrello means premium security

The application on windscreens of vehicles has proven itself millions of times.

Ombrello noticeably reduces fatigue while driving in adverse weather conditions. Thanks to the better view, objects can be recognized much faster and the reaction time is reduced. At 130 km/h the braking distance is therefore shortened by up to 30m. Accidents can be avoided under certain circumstances.
