Because most users use too much lubricant for the cleaning clay, they get inventive. They use Quick Detailer, diluted shampoo mixtures, baby oil or even dish soap. It works. Or is it not?

Many of these products can dry out the cleaning putty and cause the putty to disintegrate. Some of these products contain silicones that stick the cleaning putty and reduce the cleaning effect, as the putty can no longer absorb impurities. Or they just don't even work properly ..

Water - fine for some cleaning clay. But where is the lubrication performance as soon as the putty on the underside has absorbed the dirt particles? Water just doesn't have the same lubricity as a dedicated lubricant. So you run the risk of scratching the surface during processing and then have to recondition it.

This is where Born Slippy comes in. The special lubricant, specially developed for the cleaning putty, helps to improve the cleaning performance of the putty and to keep the lubricity constant even on dirty surfaces in order to avoid scratches and damage even to sensitive surfaces.
