Before you polish, mask the adjacent trim and make the most important step that much easier. Our masking tape provides excellent adhesion during use, yet pulls off clean with no residue when ready. It contours perfectly to curves and body lines and is offered in 4 sizes (5mm, 15mm, 24mm, 45mm). There are 40 linear meters on each roll.

The specifically formulated adhesive sticks to most surfaces (including EPDM) and removes clean for up to five days. It also has excellent resistance to paint bleed-through and temperature resistance of up to 250ºF (short term exposure). CARPRO masking tape is manufactured in an ISO 9002 registered plant to meet worldwide quality standards.

gute Erfahrungen
Habe mit diesem Klebeband echt sehr gute Erfahrungen gemacht!
Es lässt sich sehr einfach abwickeln und leicht über Rundungen kleben. Wenn man mit einer Exzentermaschine drauf poliert, passiert wirklich nichts, also es löst sich nichts. Bei einer Rotationsmaschine muss man dagegen schon etwas mehr aufpassen, aber auch hier passiert in der Regel nichts. Was das Klebeband aber nicht mag (ich denke das ist normal) wenn aus den Zierleisten teilweise noch etwas Wasser läuft...dann klebt das Band einfach nicht richtig! Also vorher mit Pressluft zb. ausblasen!
Also ich kann dieses Klebeband echt empfehlen! Preis/Leistung stimmt hier!

Sehr robust
Das CarPro Masking Tape ist durch seine Dicke sehr robust. Auch wenn man während des Polierens mehrmals auf das Tape kommt, fängt es nicht an sich zu zersetzen. Das ist für mich besonders wichtig, da es sehr ärgerlich ist, wenn man die Klebereste dann in dem Polierend hat.
Aber es lässt sich trotz der Widerstandsfähigkeit und der guten Haftbarkeit sehr einfach und vor allem rückstandslos entfernen. Was mir besonders gefällt, dass es sich sehr einfach um Kanten legen lässt, ohne dass es zu viele Falten schlägt. Top Alternative zu den etwas teuereren 3M Scotch Tapes.
